Brick Township limits storage sheds to 12 feet in height in single-family residential zones. Sheds up to 100 sq ft must be set back at least half their height from side/rear lines. Sheds over 100 sq ft must meet full zone setback requirements.
Storage sheds in single-family residential zones shall not exceed 12 feet in height. Sheds with a floor area up to 100 square feet must be located no closer to side and rear property lines than a distance equal to half the height of the structure. Storage sheds with floor area greater than 100 square feet must comply with the full side and rear yard depth requirements for the zone. Accessory structures (including sheds under 200 sq ft) in side yards abutting a right-of-way must meet half the minimum front yard requirement. Zoning permits are required for all sheds.
