Full Breakdown
Municipal Code § 7-2-122(5) limits Household Pets to no more than four animals per address, with sub-caps of two cats, two dogs, and two pot-bellied pigs; kittens and puppies as defined in § 23-1-102 don't count toward the total. The same section requires every Household Pet to be maintained under federal, state, and local law, including the City's animal-nuisance rules in § 23-5-101. Enforcement runs through Title 10's code enforcement program, with civil penalties set by the Consolidated Fee Schedule: the City's tool for addressing an address that has accumulated more animals than the code allows.
Violations & Fines
Keeping more than four Household Pets, or more than two of any capped species, violates § 7-2-122(5); the City can enforce under Title 10 with civil penalties from the Consolidated Fee Schedule.
