Wylie, TX Building Safety: Plumbing Permits (2026)

Wylie requires a building permit before any plumbing work covered by Chapter 22 begins. Sec. 22-4 makes it unlawful to construct, alter, change, restore, remove, relocate or demolish plumbing work on a building or structure without first obtaining a permit from the city, unless a technical code adopted by reference exempts the work.
