The Huntington Town Board adopted Local Law 43-2021 opting out of both retail and consumption licenses. Opt-out can be rescinded by local law at any time but cannot be reinstated once repealed. Medical dispensaries (registered organizations) under NY Cannabis Law 30 are governed separately and not subject to the local opt-out. Village of Northport within Huntington also opted out separately.
