It is unlawful in unincorporated Barrow County to possess an open alcohol container on public streets, sidewalks, rights-of-way, or in any public or semipublic parking lot, per Sec. 6-2(c). The ban extends into vehicles under subsection (g), and licensed establishments must post notice of the rule. County-approved special events and licensed sidewalk cafe patrons are the only carve-outs.
