Within the Butte Creek Canyon (-BCC) overlay zone, Butte County Code of Ordinances Section 24-34.1(D)(5) requires the Department of Development Services to consult the California Historical Resources Information System's Northeast Information Center at CSU Chico before approving a building permit or any discretionary application at five named sites: Nicholl Family Cemetery, Boneyard Flat, Centerville Schoolhouse, Centerville Cemetery, and Honey Run Covered Bridge.
