Food Handler Certification
Charlotte County requires every manager, supervisor, and other employee of a food service establishment, food processing plant, food outlet, or abattoir house to complete health-department food hygiene training and carry a food handler's card. Managers need 4 to 12 hours of initial training; other employees need at least 4 hours, with cards valid for two years.
