Unincorporated Franklin County channels every sexually oriented business into a special use permit under UDC § 5.3.6.P, and layers on spacing: a half-mile buffer from any other sexually oriented business and a separate half-mile buffer from dwellings, schools, childcare, religious assembly, parks, and group care homes. Only the adult use itself may occupy the building, and outside signage is limited to on-premises identification.
