Historic-Cultural Monuments
Nassau County's Chapter 5 creates the Amelia Island Historical Restoration and Preservation Commission, a body corporate empowered to acquire, restore and operate historic landmarks, sites, cemeteries, monuments and buildings of antiquarian interest in and around the City of Fernandina Beach. Five commissioners, appointed by the governor, run the body under Secs. 5-15 through 5-20.
