Dark Sky Rules

Inside the Timber to Tides Design Overlay along SR 200/A1A, every thoroughfare, building-facade and parking-lot light has to carry dark-sky friendly shielding and directional LED bulbs to cut light pollution. The Land Development Code ties fixture design to the Nassau County Planning Director and requires fixtures approved as specified by Dark Sky International.
