Violations & Fines
A fence built taller than these limits is a Title 17 Code violation under Section 17.28.200. The Director can order the owner to correct it in writing, and refusal to comply is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1,000 fine, up to six months in City jail, or both, with each day the oversized fence remains treated as a separate offense.
