Installing barbed wire in a residential district, or an above-ground electric fence outside an active-farm Agriculture parcel, violates City Code and can require removal. Allowing wood fence finish to deteriorate beyond the 20%-per-10-foot threshold can result in a public-nuisance determination and repair orders.
