The city's home occupation ordinance, § 4.12.G of the Zoning Ordinance, sets a hard occupancy cap for client traffic: no more than two clients or patrons may be on the premises at once in connection with a home occupation. The ordinance carves out one exception. Family Day Care Homes may have up to six children in care at a time. The same section bars any home occupation from generating offensive traffic, sound, smell, vibration, light, or dust, and requires incoming vehicles related to the home occupation to park off-street within the driveway or other on-site permitted parking rather than on the street.
