" That sits alongside bans on parking within five feet of a driveway or fire hydrant, in a crosswalk, or in a bus stop or taxicab stand. 101(F) authorizes officers to remove any vehicle "left unattended or parked in a manner that blocks ingress or egress from driveways, obstructs a bike lane, or obstructs sidewalk pedestrian traffic," taking it to the City garage, a City lot, or another Police-designated storage location. 104 (Bicycle Lanes, added by Ord. 21-23) requires that "the driver of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to bicycles, and/or electrical assisted bicycles, and/or electric scooters, and/or low-power scooters, and/or EPAMDs and other authorized users of bicycle lanes" while those users are in a bicycle lane or protected bicycle lane.
102(C), which lets an officer place a penalty assessment notice on an unattended vehicle in apparent violation, payable to the Clerk of the Municipal Court within seven days before escalating to a mailed notice, immobilization, or a summons.
Violations & Fines
