Full Breakdown

City code 9.28.040.B.7 makes it unlawful to operate or cause to be operated any equipment used in construction, repair, alteration or demolition work on buildings, structures, streets, alleys, or appurtenances in residential or commercial districts during the 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM overnight window (9:00 PM to 9:00 AM on Sundays and legal holidays). The Salt Lake Valley health department has primary enforcement, with joint enforcement by law enforcement for vehicular sources.
