(5)Any vehicle in violation of this section may be removed and impounded until lawfully claimed or disposed of, pursuant to §342.40, Wis. Stats. The owner of the vehicle shall be responsible for the costs of removing, impounding and disposing of an abandoned vehicle, other than a stolen vehicle, and shall be subject to the imposition of a forfeiture for violation of §346.94(13), Wis. Stats. The cost of removing, impounding, and disposing of the vehicle shall include a processing fee of $5 per day payable to the City when the vehicle is reclaimed or sold.
