Beloit, WI Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

20 of the Beloit Code of Ordinances, created by Ordinance #2751, draws a hard line between residents and visitors. Any person who lives in the City of Beloit may not park a camping trailer, dual-purpose motor home, fifth-wheel mobile home, mobile home, motor bus, motor home or any other trailer on a City street in a residential district at all, with the only carve-out being temporary stopping to load or unload cargo or to pick up or drop off passengers. 01 of the Wisconsin Statutes rather than restated locally.

A person who lives outside Beloit's corporate limits gets more room, but only if every condition in subsection (3) is met: the parking cannot already be barred by some other traffic rule, the vehicle's owner must be visiting a City resident who actually lives on that block, and the vehicle cannot sit in that block for more than 7 days in any calendar month. Miss any one of those three conditions and the visitor exception disappears, putting the vehicle back under the flat citywide ban that applies to residents. The rule targets the street itself, not driveways or yards, which fall under the Property Maintenance Code's separate recreational-vehicle storage rules in Chapter 7.
