Any unit longer than 24 feet, measured along the centerline including the trailer tongue, engine and engine-trailer assembly, cannot be parked or stored on a residential lot or its adjoining right-of-way except inside a fully enclosed building or garage, or behind the "front plane" of the dwelling, meaning the plane of the home's longest front facade including the roof overhang. A homeowner can also park an oversized RV or boat anywhere on the property for up to 72 hours within any rolling 30-day period, but only for maintenance, loading or unloading; arrivals and departures from the driveway are not restricted by that limit.
m. The unit can never be used for living, sleeping or housekeeping while parked on a residential lot. Disabled or abandoned recreational vehicles or equipment get seven days of temporary parking at most while awaiting repair, and even then only inside an enclosed garage or behind the front plane of the home. Recreational vehicles or equipment are never permitted on the right-of-way adjoining a residential lot.
