Hudson, NH Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Chapter 317, Article III of the Hudson Town Code governs on-street parking. Section 317-21, Parking prohibited at all times, bars anyone from parking a vehicle at any time on the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VIII (§ 317-35), a list of specific roads attached to the chapter. Section 317-22, Parking prohibited certain hours, bars parking during the hours specified in Schedule IX (§ 317-36) on the streets it names, unless the schedule itself says otherwise. Both schedules are street-by-street lists maintained as attachments to Chapter 317 rather than general rules, so the operative restriction for any given road depends on whether that road appears in Schedule VIII or IX.

Section 317-15A's fine table separately penalizes specific conduct anywhere in Town: blocking a private or public driveway draws a $20 fine, as does parking within a crosswalk or within 20 feet of one, parking on a crosswalk or sidewalk, parking within 30 feet of an intersection, parking in a restricted zone, double parking, and obstructing a traffic lane. Fire hydrant violations within 15 feet and fire lane violations draw $25, and handicapped parking violations require a court summons. Under § 317-15B, an unpaid fine after 72 hours results in a summons to Nashua District Court, and the Hudson Police Department may remove a violating vehicle under § 317-16, with the owner responsible for towing and storage costs before release.
