Huntington Beach treats its beaches and parks as smoke-free by default. 115, added by Ordinance 4124 in May 2017, bars any person from smoking on the Beach, Adjacent Beach Area, Pier, Pier Plaza, or in a Park, unless the Director has designated a specific, signed smoking area. There is no default smoking zone: every location the ban covers is off-limits unless a sign says otherwise.
