090 makes it unlawful to operate a skateboard, bicycle or similar propelled device in willful or wanton disregard for safety in any park, playground, trail or open space under the City Manager/Community Services Department. The chapter was adopted by Ordinance 2014-146 and the skateboarding-area section was amended by Ordinance 2019-266 on February 20, 2019.

Section 13.01.100(B) makes any violation of the designated-area rules an infraction under this Code and state law, as further set by City Council resolution. Chapter-wide, Section 13.01.350 makes violations misdemeanors punishable by up to a $1,000 fine, up to six months in County Jail, or both, unless the section specifies an infraction, which carries a fine up to $250.
