Section 160-54(C)(5), one of the standing conditions attached to every short-term rental permit, spells out the minimum: 'sufficient on-site parking must be provided,' located 'in a driveway or behind the main residence on the property that is under review for the permit,' with 'accommodations for one (1) car per short term rental stay and two (2) cars for the owner's family' as 'the minimum off-street parking to be provided.' Section 160-49(E) enforces the same standard as a prohibited act: 'all vehicles attributable to short term rentals shall be parked on-site in parking spaces provided for such purpose when the vehicles are not in use,' and any deviation is deemed 'in violation of this Article.'

The parking condition sits alongside other standing conditions in Section 160-54(C): no new signage advertising the rental, no commercial-type exterior lighting, and no altered exterior appearance or new entrance to accommodate the short-term use. Section 160-54(C)(10) also requires that 'traffic attributed to the short-term rental must not result in significant adverse impacts to existing traffic patterns nor create a hazard to pedestrians in the neighborhood,' tying the parking rule to a broader neighborhood-impact standard the Director of Public Safety can enforce when reviewing or renewing a permit application under Sections 160-52 and 160-53.
