Walnut Creek's Zoning Ordinance (Municipal Code Title 10) requires most single-family homes to maintain at least 2 off-street parking spaces (typically covered in a garage), and multi-family units to provide 1.5–2 per unit depending on bedroom count. These residential parking standards continue to apply when a dwelling is used for short-term rental.
