A. Community event permits are required for each community event. Certain community events require temporary use permits in accordance with Chapter 17.75 of the zoning code, including, but not limited to, the following: amusement attractions, carnivals, circuses, and fairs. Fireworks displays are permitted in accordance with section 17.225.260 of the zoning code. B. Applications submitted for use permits, use of city parks or recreation facilities, or pursuant to city policies, ordinances or similar existing permit systems shall be deemed equivalent to community event applications for the purposes of this chapter.
