Eastvale, CA Trash & Recycling: Bin Placement Rules (2026)

Sec. 110 governs how every property in Eastvale must use, place and store its solid waste containers. Under subsection (a), every person in charge of a premises must keep enough containers on site to hold a week's worth of gray container waste, non-organic recyclables and organic waste without spilling, leaking or emitting odors, and must deposit waste into the correct container. Subsection (b) sets the placement clock: to minimize interference with the public right of way, no container may be set out for collection more than 24 hours before the normal collection time, and it must come back off the right of way within 24 hours after collection.

Subsection (c) covers storage the rest of the week: except while placed for collection, no container can be visible from the public right of way at all. Bulky-item pickups get a tighter 12-hour window on each side of the scheduled collection time, and those items must likewise be stored out of public view within 12 hours after pickup. Cleanup responsibility for anything spilled from a container, whether by wind, animals or other interference, falls on the person in charge of the premises until the solid waste franchisee collects it, per Sec. 120, while the franchisee itself must clean up any spill it causes during collection.
