Section 106-115(c) of the General Code's solid waste article addresses large items that cannot fit in a standard container: furniture, appliances with doors removed, water heaters, mattresses, bedsprings and similar large objects must be stored or stacked neatly for collection on the weekly second pickup date rather than set out whenever the resident chooses. Brush and green waste get their own limit under Section 106-117(a)(2): discarded tree branches, shrubbery, leaves, yard clippings and pine straw can be containerized or placed loose, but the total volume cannot exceed two cubic yards or 54 cubic feet, and individual tree limbs cannot exceed four inches in diameter.

00 per hour, each billed with a one-hour minimum, and the responsible party gets seven days' notice to comply before the city dispatches a crew and charges the fee. Materials from construction, demolition or major commercial tree-trimming operations are excluded from all regular and bulk collection under Section 106-116(b) and must be disposed of at the generator's own expense.
