It shall be considered to be a violation of this section to set out bulk waste for collection without first calling the city's designated waste collection contractor or to set out bulk waste prior to the time designated within section 25-32.(b)Each and every day a violation of this section remains unabated shall be deemed a separate offense. A violation of this section is punishable by a minimum fine of $200.00 for the first day a violation occurs. Any second and subsequent violation shall be punishable by a fine of up to $750.00 for each day the violation occurs and remains unabated.(c)The legal director or designee shall have the authority to direct payment of 20 percent of any fine revenue received by the city from a conviction or plea or finding of guilty to a violation of this section to the person other than the violator who provided information that led to the conviction or plea or finding of guilty. It is the sole discretion of the legal director or designee to determine whether the information provided led to a conviction of this section, and the legal director or his designee and the city shall not be subject to any suit, judgment, claim or appeal of this determination.
