The City of Bellevue contracts with Republic Services for residential and commercial solid waste, recycling, and yard waste collection citywide under Bellevue City Code 8.04. Service is weekly for garbage and every other week for recycling and yard waste (weekly yard waste April through October). Customers receive three carts: garbage (gray/black), recycling (blue), and yard/food waste (green). Cart sizes are 20, 32, 64, or 96 gallons. Garbage must be placed at the curb by 7 AM on collection day and removed by midnight. Collection days are assigned by neighborhood; find your schedule at RepublicServices.com or call 425-452-6932. Holiday schedule: collection delayed one day after New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
