Goodyear contracts with Waste Connections of Arizona for weekly same-day curbside collection of trash and recycling containers. Residents receive trash and recycling bins serviced once per week on the same day. Bins must be placed curbside by 6 AM on collection day. Holiday schedules shift pickup to the following day for affected weeks.
Waste Connections of Arizona provides residential curbside trash and recycling collection under contract with Goodyear. Both containers are serviced on the same day, once per week. Bins must be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM on collection day with lids closed and handles facing the street. Containers should be placed 3 feet apart and 3 feet from any obstacle such as mailboxes, parked cars, or other bins. Bins must be retrieved from the curb by the end of collection day. The city provides a Waste Wizard tool at goodyearaz.gov/trash where residents can enter their address to find their specific pickup day and sign up for collection alerts. Holiday schedule adjustments apply on Independence Day (July 4th), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day β collection shifts to the day after the regularly scheduled pickup.
Leaving bins at the curb beyond collection day or failing to properly store bins between pickups may result in Code Compliance notices. Contaminating recycling bins with non-recyclable materials may result in the load being rejected. Contact Waste Connections or the city's Public Works Department for service issues. Code Compliance at (623) 932-3200 handles bin storage complaints.
