Goodyear, AZ Trash & Recycling: Yard Waste Collection (2026)

The City of Goodyear defines GREEN WASTE under City Code § 10-1-1 as tree limbs, branches, palm fronds, shrub trimmings, grass clippings and other landscape debris, and requires that brush, branches and fronds placed for bulk collection not exceed four feet in length and be set in neat order parallel to the street at the designated bulk collection point. Bulk collection itself, including yard waste, is governed by § 10-3-3: it is available only to residential accounts with an active sanitation account, is included in the monthly rate, and is capped at five cubic yards per collection.

Bulk material set out for collection must be bundled where practical, with individual bundles limited to 50 pounds and four feet in length under the § 10-1-1 BUNDLED definition, and must be placed in neat stacks no more than four feet from the sidewalk or curb, at least five feet from fences, utility boxes, meters, fire hydrants and mailboxes (§ 10-3-3(E)). on the collection day itself, and anything left curbside more than seven days ahead of schedule is a separate violation under § 10-4-2(C). Landscaping businesses working for compensation are separately barred from dumping tree trimmings, brush or other landscaping material for bulk or curbside pickup, or on any public or private lot, under § 10-4-2(A).
