Full Breakdown

Enter your address in the My Collection Day tool at sa.gov/swmd/mycollectionday (or the 311SA app) to find your garbage, recycling, and organics days, which differ. When a city holiday lands on a weekday, collection for that day and the remaining weekdays shifts one day later. Free brush and bulky-item collection happens twice a year on a rotating route schedule; you receive a door-hanger notice 7–10 days ahead. Set carts at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day and return them off the right-of-way by 10:00 p.m.

Violations & Fines

Set carts out by 7:00 a.m. and remove them from the public right-of-way by 10:00 p.m. on collection day. Mixing other materials into a brush/bulky pile can bring a fine of up to $2,000.
