9.08.117 - Single-stream recycling-Collection. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter: (A)Each residential customer who receives weekly single-stream recycling collection service shall use wheeled carts for solid waste and for recycling.(B)For any resident that receives single-stream recycling collection service, a franchisee shall provide, every other week, a separate collection service for bulky items. On the days such service is provided, a residential customer may put such items in a container other than a wheeled cart if the container has capacity of less than thirty-six gallons and weighs no more than fifty pounds (contents included).(C)Bulky items such as appliances that weigh more than fifty pounds shall be placed next to the wheeled carts or at curbside to be picked up by a two-person crew on the bulky item collection day.
