Violations & Fines
Building or maintaining an accessory structure outside these setback and size limits is a violation of NLVMC 17.28.200. The Director orders correction in writing, stating the code section violated and the deadline; the order is appealable to the Planning Commission under Section 17.12.040.G. An uncorrected violation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1,000 fine, six months in jail, or both, with each day the condition persists a separate offense and per diem fines available.
