City Code section 10-2-1(F) approves and adopts the 2018 International Plumbing Code, published by the International Code Council, as the code governing plumbing work in Lehi. Under section 10-2-3(B)(6), the Assistant Building Official is the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) for the Plumbing Code specifically, separate from the Fire Marshal, who administers the Fire and Wildland-Urban Interface Codes, and the Power Department Operations Manager, who administers the National Electric Safety Code. 01852 to reach the fee. If a plumbing installation cannot practically meet a specific code section, section 10-2-3(A) lets the owner apply in writing to the AHJ for a modification, stating the reason strict compliance is impractical, the requested modification, and why it still satisfies the code's health and safety intent; the AHJ must render a written decision within thirty days, or notify the owner if more time is needed.

Because Title 10, Chapter 2 carries no chapter-specific penalty clause, a plumbing violation falls back on the citywide general penalty at section 1-4-1: the city council may impose a criminal fine up to the maximum class B misdemeanor amount under Utah Code section 76-3-301, up to six months imprisonment, or both.
