A city permit approved by the building official is required before constructing or installing a residential swimming pool in Cocoa, and the pool must meet a 7½-foot rear-yard setback, or a 15-foot setback from a seawall on waterfront lots. Appendix A, Article XIII, Section 16 also bans commercial pools in residential districts.
