In the City of East Orange, it is unlawful to feed, harbor or shelter mice, rats or other rodents on any property, and property owners cannot let wood, rocks, construction material or other debris pile up in a way that could shelter rodents, under Chapter 282; separately, Chapter 292 bars any owner from letting insect, rodent or vermin infestation exist in a building.
