In the City of East Orange, Chapter 118, Article II requires anyone going door to door to sell goods or services for future delivery to hold a solicitor's license from the Tax Collector under § 118-10. Licensees must be fingerprinted, carry the license, and can only solicit 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
