Stormwater Management

In unincorporated Putnam County, installing or altering a drainage structure, creating a new drainage channel or changing a drainage basin's characteristics requires a permit from the county Public Works Director before any other construction permit issues, except for a single-family home or duplex, or a project under five acres with less than 8,000 square feet of impervious surface per acre, under Putnam County Code section 14-24.
