Security Camera Rules
Volusia County requires every late-night retail business, open any time between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., to run a working security camera during all business hours under Code § 26-36. The camera must produce a clear, retrievable image and pass periodic sheriff inspections, alongside cash-limit signage, a bolted safe, parking-lot lighting and employee robbery-prevention training.
