In unincorporated Wicomico County, § 160-58 of the Housing Code requires every opening of a half-inch or more that rodents could use to be sealed, and any below-grade or low-level opening must be screened with grilles, hardware cloth or expanded metal on sturdy frames that leave no gnawable wood exposed.
