Caldwell City Code Section 10-12-03-26(1)(B) ties mobile food unit locations directly to the citywide land use schedule: units are permitted wherever the applicable table in Chapter 10 lists them, and they are prohibited from any location where the city has reasonable grounds to believe the use would violate a land use entitlement or the conditions of a recorded development agreement. Table 10-06-03, the Land Use Schedule for Commercial Districts, spells out exactly where that permission applies: a mobile food unit qualifies for a Temporary Use Permit in each of the five commercial zones, C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, and H-C, meaning a vendor can set up in any commercial corridor in the city once that permit is issued.

Mobile Food Unit Parks, where more than one unit clusters on a single lot, are treated differently and require either a straight permit or a Special Use Permit depending on the specific commercial district. Beyond the general prohibition on entitlement conflicts, the operating standards in the same section separately bar units from parking in a required vision triangle, blocking legal ingress or egress, blocking a trash dumpster, sitting too close to a fire hydrant, occupying a curb reserved for the fire department, or obscuring a traffic sign, and units cannot overhang a public right-of-way or easement except vendor carts that obtain a separate right-of-way permit from the Engineering Department.

Together, the table and the siting restrictions define both where a food truck can legally park in Caldwell and the specific physical placements that remain off-limits even within an allowed zone.
