8 of the Property Maintenance Code prohibits parking, keeping or storing an unregistered, uninsured or uninspected motor vehicle on any premises, and separately bars any vehicle from being in a state of major disassembly, disrepair, or in the process of being stripped or dismantled, except as provided elsewhere in the Code. The Property Maintenance Officer or a designee may cite either the property owner or the vehicle's owner for a violation. Subsection (a) allows a narrow exception: a temporary permit for the repair of one such vehicle, valid up to 90 days, obtained through the Township Zoning Officer; a vehicle without that permit is treated as violating both this section and the Zoning Ordinance.

Subsection (b) cross-references Zoning Ordinance 88-60 (amending Ordinance 76-71), Section 526, for the underlying vehicle-storage standard, and subsection (c) requires any vehicle under the section to be secured so it does not present an attractive nuisance, public nuisance or dangerous condition. A carved-out exception permits major overhaul or body work if performed inside a structure or a similarly enclosed, approved area. Penalties under subsection (d) track the Chapter 15 scheme: a first offense may be settled by a $50 guilty-by-affidavit plea through Cherry Hill Municipal Court, while a second or subsequent offense requires a court appearance and draws a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500, with each day of continued violation a separate offense, and the violation must be corrected immediately or the owner faces another citation.
