Cherry Hill, NJ Parking Rules: Loading Zones (2026)

Section 10-16 of the Revised General Ordinances, adopted by Ordinance No. 317 in 1962 and amended in 1973 and 1977, designates three curb locations as loading zones: the south side of Church Road (County Road No. 616) beginning 35 feet west of State Street's westerly curbline and extending 50 feet further west; the east side of Third Avenue beginning 25 feet north of Chapel Avenue and running 167 feet; and the south side of Wynwood Avenue beginning 45 feet east of Haddonfield Road's easterly curbline and extending 80 feet further east.

The code lists the restriction as applying 'All' hours, meaning the loading-only rule runs around the clock rather than during a set delivery window. Parking any vehicle in these marked segments for a purpose other than actively loading or unloading goods and materials is prohibited. 1: a fine of up to $2,000, imprisonment for up to 90 days, or up to 90 days of community service, at the Municipal Court judge's discretion, for any Code violation lacking its own specified penalty. 3 adds an extra fine for a second conviction of the same provision within one year.

These are the only three loading zones named in the traffic chapter; there is no township-wide loading-dock or commercial-vehicle loading standard beyond these specific street segments, which sit within the broader on-street parking and traffic regulations of Chapter 10.
