Goodyear restricts commercial vehicle parking in residential districts. No more than one commercial vehicle or work trailer of two-ton capacity or less may be parked per lot. Commercial vehicles exceeding two-ton capacity are prohibited in residential zones.
Goodyear's Zoning Ordinance restricts commercial vehicle parking in residential districts. Parking more than one commercial vehicle or work trailer of two-ton capacity or less, or any single commercial vehicle exceeding two-ton capacity, on a lot within a residential district is prohibited. Semi-trucks and heavy commercial equipment are prohibited in residential areas. The restriction applies to vehicles with commercial markings, commercial plates, or used primarily for commercial purposes. Temporary commercial vehicle parking for deliveries and service calls is generally permitted. HOAs may impose additional restrictions.
Commercial vehicles exceeding the limits may be cited. Persistent violations may result in towing.
