Oneida, NY Parking Rules: Loading Zones (2026)

Section 180-20 of the City of Oneida Code regulates marked loading zones within Chapter 180's stopping, standing and parking article. Subsection A bars an operator from stopping, standing or parking a vehicle in a marked loading zone for any longer than is necessary for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers or the pickup, delivery or loading of materials, and it sets a hard outer bound: in no case may a stop for loading or unloading of materials exceed 30 minutes. That 30-minute ceiling applies regardless of how long the underlying task might reasonably take; once 30 minutes pass, the stop is a violation whether or not loading is complete.
