Sec 15-610, titled 'Parking More Than 24 Hours,' states flatly that no person shall park a vehicle on any street for a period of time longer than 24 hours. The city does not carve out a nighttime-only window; the rule applies around the clock, so a vehicle left in one spot from, for example, Monday morning to Tuesday morning is in violation the moment it crosses the 24-hour mark, regardless of the hour. This sits within Chapter 15-6, Article 15-6A, alongside Sec 15-601's list of places where stopping and parking are barred outright and Sec 15-611's requirement that any unattended vehicle have its engine stopped and brake set.

The city manager, under Sec 15-607 and Sec 15-612, may also post additional time-limit signs restricting parking on specific streets, and Sec 15-612 makes it unlawful to park in violation of those posted limits once signs are in place. Sec 15-1801 gives Moore Police Department officers, and officers assigned by the chief of police, the duty to enforce street traffic regulations, investigate violations and issue citations. Because Sec 15-610 carries no listed bond amount in the city's specific bond schedule, a violation falls under the general penalty in Sec 1-108: a fine of up to $500, unless a stricter state-law maximum applies, and Sec 1-109 makes each day a continuing violation persists a separate offense, so a vehicle left in place for multiple days can generate multiple citations rather than a single fine.
