Full Breakdown

Section 11-2A-8 prohibits parking any vehicle on a Naperville street or alley between two o'clock a.m. and five o'clock a.m. every day, with two narrow exceptions: a genuine emergency, or a location and vehicle enrolled in the city's Overnight Parking Program, which the Department of Transportation, Engineering, and Development coordinates and publishes guidelines for on its website. Outside an approved overnight spot, any vehicle left on the street during the restricted window is subject to ticketing under the City's general parking enforcement.

Violations & Fines

Parking overnight without an emergency or an Overnight Parking Program space is a ticketable violation under the City's general parking fine schedule, and repeat offenders risk towing.
