Provo City Code Β§14.34.060 limits RV, boat, and trailer street parking to 72 consecutive hours. On residential private property, RVs must be on a driveway or paved area, set back 12.5 feet from the sidewalk for portions over 3 feet in height.
Under Provo City Code Β§14.34.060 and Chapter 9.31, it is unlawful to park an RV, trailer, boat, or similar conveyance on any public street or alley for more than 72 consecutive hours. Moving the vehicle and reparking on the same block face within 72 hours is deemed continuous parking (the clock does not reset). On private residential property: RVs/boats/trailers may not be kept in a front or street-side yard unless parked on the driveway or a paved area; any portion over 3 feet in height must be set back at least 12.5 feet from the inside edge of the sidewalk (or property line if no sidewalk). RVs may be parked in the rear yard or a non-street-facing side yard. RVs may not be parked in a corner lot's clear vision area.
Street parking over 72 hours: citation and potential tow. Improper private property storage: zoning citation.
