On residential property, front yard storage of RVs and boats is commonly restricted by zoning. In certain planned development (PD) zones, RV storage areas must be enclosed with a 6-foot high sight-obscuring fence and paved with concrete or asphalt. In the PD-30 zone, RV storage is not permitted at all. HOAs typically have stricter RV parking rules.
