Subsection 1.g bars posting a yard or garage sale sign on telephone poles, streetlights, traffic signs, or any other structure located in the public right-of-way, which covers the sidewalks, parkways, streets and alleys the sale itself is also barred from using. A resident may post a sign on someone else's premises, not just their own sale property, but only with that other property owner's written permission first.

Because yard sales are already capped at four per parcel per year and confined to the second weekend of the month under Section 18.24.030.E.1.d, the sign rule effectively limits the entire advertising window for any one sale to about nine days: two days of lead-in signage plus the up-to-three-day sale itself.

Violation of this subsection folds into the same infraction and escalating fine structure, $100 first, $200 second, $500 third and beyond, that governs the rest of Section 18.24.030.E.
